Eh. Go look up Emily Rosa and the study she did when she was 9. Reiki "masters" did worse, statistically, at guessing where her hands were through a cardboard cutout.The reason this works is auto-suggestion. You "believe" it's going to happen, so in your mind, it does. It's the same principle behind NLP, autogenics, and Ericksonian hypnosis.If it works for you, great, but it's all in your head. There is no universal qi.

Ive done what I call energytreatments to myself sometimes... My sister says that if I believe I can cure myself (stop a headache) it will happen, and the whole energy-thing has nothing to do with it. I dont really care, as long as it works! :D Ive learned to stop my headache, and if I do it by tricking my mind or something like that I dont care! ;)
