Whilst its heartening to see somebody recover from a drink problem - my first thoughts were... more American gush about the pro-addiction ideology, yet again somebody making a fast buck from manipulating vulnerable people - I'm sure you folks love these epiphanies, these great moments of clarity!! I know whats coming...

Why don't you properly label this? Alcohol is an addictive drug; and, it is probably the most harmful of all addictive drugs, aside from tobacco. There is no real difference between Alcohol and any other addictive drug, aside from the fact Alcohol causes more problems when abused. We need to stop differentiating between the two, it is a completely fictitious separation. Alcoholism is drug addiction, plain and simple. I say cheers to anyone that can overcome either;but,be real about it.
